What is Futico?
Futico is a football trivia grid game. You get a 3×3 grid where clubs cross with countries, leagues and positions, and you find the one player who fits each square. Line up three in a row to win the round.
How do you play Futico?
Tap a square, then search for a player who matches both its row and column — for example a French player who played for Real Madrid. Rarer, less obvious picks score more. Get three in a row across, down or diagonally to take the round.
Is Futico free to play?
Yes. Futico is free to download and play. Optional coins and cosmetic items like kits, stadiums and avatars are available, but never required to play or win.
When is Futico coming out?
Futico is launching soon on iOS and Android. Follow it on the App Store and Google Play to be notified the moment it goes live.
What can I play in Futico?
The signature 3×3 grid, plus more daily football puzzles — Connections (sort players into hidden groups) and Career Path (guess the mystery player from his clubs). Play ranked online duels against players worldwide, local pass-and-play with a friend, and limited-time events like the World Cup 2026 season. You climb the global ranks and customise your kit, stadium and profile.
Do I need an account to play Futico?
You can start playing as a guest right away. A free account lets you save your progress, play ranked online matches, add friends and keep your stats across devices.
Is Futico a football quiz or football tic-tac-toe?
A bit of both. Futico is a football quiz played on a grid — often called football tic-tac-toe. You fill a 3×3 grid by naming players who match each row and column, then line up three in a row to win. It rewards real football knowledge over luck.
