1. Who we are, and accepting these Terms

Futico is a football trivia grid game developed and operated from Türkiye. By downloading, opening or playing Futico, or by using futico.app, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service. If you set Futico up for someone below the age of majority, you confirm that you are their parent or guardian and you accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Who can use Futico

You must be at least 13 years old, or older where your country sets a higher minimum age for a service like this (16 in some EEA countries). You must not be barred from using the service by law or by an earlier ban. One person, one account.

3. What Futico is

Futico is a football knowledge game built around a grid: you name a player who satisfies the club, country or position on each row and column, and you try to line up three in a row. It includes live online matches with matchmaking, private rooms you can share with a friend through an invite code or link, pass-and-play local games on a single device, the Career Path collection mode, the daily Connections puzzle and daily grids, plus quests, seasons, leaderboards, ranks, friends and cosmetic customisation. Online modes need an internet connection and a Futico account; local play needs neither. Local games are for fun only and do not award XP, rank or coins.

4. Your account

You can play as a guest or create an account with an email code, Google or Apple. Keep access to your account and to your email safe — anyone who can read your inbox can request a sign-in code. You are responsible for everything that happens on your account. Choose a username that is not offensive, misleading, or an impersonation of someone else; we may reset a name that breaks that rule. Accounts, progress and virtual items are personal to you and may not be sold, rented, shared or transferred, and buying or selling accounts, boosting services or coins outside the app is prohibited. Guest progress belongs to the install: if you delete the app or reset the guest session before signing up, it is gone.

5. Fair play, and things you may not do

Play fair. Do not: cheat, or use bots, scripts, macros, a modified client or emulated input; exploit a bug instead of reporting it; create multiple accounts to farm rewards, inflate a rank or dodge a ban; deliberately disconnect or stall to manipulate a result; harass, threaten, spam or abuse other players; upload a photo or text that is illegal, hateful, sexual, violent or infringes anyone’s rights; impersonate another player, a real person, a club or us; interfere with ad delivery or fake ad rewards; reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, attack our backend, or bypass our security, rate limits or purchase checks; scrape, mine or republish our content or data at scale; or use Futico for anything unlawful. We may warn, restrict, roll back rewards, suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these rules.

6. Your content

Some of what appears in the game is yours: your username and display name, your profile photo, any custom text you put on a kit or stadium, and the feedback and reports you send us. You keep whatever rights you already have in it, and you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and share it within Futico for as long as you keep it there — for instance showing your photo next to your name on a leaderboard. You confirm you have the right to use what you upload: do not upload a photo of somebody else, or a logo you do not own. Names and custom text are filtered automatically, and we may remove or reset content that breaks these Terms without prior notice.

7. Energy, coins & virtual items

Energy, coins, hints (jokers), emotes, the Season Pass, kits, stadiums, board themes, avatar frames, effects, XP, levels and ranks are a licence to use a feature inside Futico. They are not property, not money and not a stored balance or payment instrument; they have no value outside the game and cannot be exchanged for cash or moved to another account. Online matches consume energy, which refills over time or can be topped up with coins or an optional rewarded ad. As a live game we may add, change, rebalance, reprice or retire items, modes and economy rules — including energy costs and reward amounts — and we may correct balances granted in error or obtained through abuse. Unused items are lost if you delete your account, or if we terminate it for a breach of these Terms. If Futico is ever discontinued we will give notice in advance, and you may lose access to items you have not used, to the extent the law allows.

8. Purchases, refunds & withdrawal rights

Purchases are optional. Payment is taken by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own terms — not by us — and the price you see includes the taxes those stores apply for your country. What you buy is granted to your Futico account: coins are credited by our backend once the store confirms the payment, which is usually immediate but can take a few minutes. Because consumable content such as coins is delivered and used immediately, refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies and we usually cannot reverse a purchase ourselves — but if something was paid for and not delivered, contact us and we will fix it. If you are a consumer in the EEA, the UK or Türkiye you have a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content; by choosing to use the content immediately you agree that this right ends once delivery has begun, and nothing here limits your mandatory consumer rights. The Season Pass applies to the season it was sold for, and unclaimed tiers expire when that season ends. "No Ads" is a one-time purchase tied to the store account that bought it, and can be restored on your other devices with that same store account.

9. Ads & rewarded ads

The free version of Futico is funded by advertising. Full-screen ads appear automatically at natural breaks between games, subject to frequency and daily limits. Rewarded videos are always your choice and grant energy, a hint or in-game items when you watch them to the end; if an ad fails to load or you close it early, no reward is given — and nothing is ever charged for watching one. Ads are served by third-party networks with their own terms and privacy policies. Beyond the PG content limit we set, we do not control what they show and we are not responsible for what an advertiser offers or for anything you buy from one. Buying "No Ads" removes the automatic full-screen ads; optional rewarded videos remain available if you want the rewards.

10. Seasons, leaderboards, ranks & rewards

Seasons, events, quests and leaderboards run for limited periods, and their rules, rewards and duration can change. Rank and rating may be reset when a season ends. Leaderboards display your public profile to other players. We may recalculate a leaderboard, cancel a placement, or take back rewards obtained through cheating, exploits or multiple accounts. Unclaimed limited-time rewards expire when the event they belong to ends.

11. Availability, updates & changes to the game

Online modes depend on an internet connection, on our backend and on third-party services, and may be unavailable during maintenance, incidents or updates. We deliver updates through the app stores and over the air; continuing to play after an update means you are using the updated version. We may add, change or remove features, modes and content, may stop supporting older app versions or operating systems, and may test features with a limited group of players before releasing them more widely.

12. Football names, clubs & data

Futico is an independent quiz game. Club, competition, national team and player names, and factual career data, are used descriptively so that you can identify who a question is about, and they remain the property of their respective owners. Futico is not affiliated with, licensed by, sponsored by or endorsed by any club, league, federation or player. The crests, kits and stadium art shown by default are our own generated, non-official artwork. The community logo pack is optional, is provided and hosted by third parties rather than by us, is downloaded only if you switch it on in Settings, and can be changed or withdrawn at any time; we make no warranty about it and you are responsible for enabling it. Factual data comes from public sources and may be incomplete or out of date — if you spot a mistake, tell us through in-app feedback.

13. Our intellectual property, and your licence

Futico — the name, the logo, the app, its artwork, sounds, code, puzzle design and the compilation of its content — belongs to us and is protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and play the app on devices you control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense or create derivative works from it, or remove any proprietary notices. Streaming and posting videos or screenshots of your own gameplay is welcome, including on monetised channels, as long as you do not present Futico as your own product or imply that we endorse you.

14. Suspension & termination

You can stop playing at any time, and delete your account in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access, remove content, or reset progress if you breach these Terms or the law, if your account is used fraudulently, or if we are required to for legal or security reasons — immediately, where the breach is serious. Where it is proportionate we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right, and you can always appeal to info@futico.app. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of purchases already delivered, except where the law provides otherwise. The sections on virtual items, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law survive termination.

15. Disclaimers

Futico is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that matchmaking will always find you an opponent, that football data is complete and accurate, or that progress can always be recovered. We do not guarantee any particular result, rank or reward. Where the law gives you guarantees as a consumer that cannot be excluded, nothing in this section limits them.

16. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for lost profits, lost data or lost virtual items, and our total liability for any claim relating to Futico is limited to the greater of the amount you spent on Futico in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim, or 25 EUR (or the equivalent in your currency).

17. Apple & Google

This agreement is between you and Futico, not with Apple or Google. They are not responsible for the app or its content, and have no obligation to provide any support or maintenance for it. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app; beyond that, Apple has no further warranty obligation. Any claim relating to the app — product liability, a legal or regulatory breach, or a consumer protection claim — is a matter between you and us, and if a third party claims the app infringes its intellectual property, we and not Apple are responsible for dealing with it. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US embargo and are not on a US prohibited-parties list, and you agree to comply with the App Store or Google Play terms that apply to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it against you.

18. Governing law & consumer rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the competent courts in Türkiye have jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring proceedings there. Consumers in Türkiye may also apply to the district consumer arbitration committee or the Consumer Court. We would much rather sort things out directly, so please email info@futico.app first and we will genuinely try to resolve it.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms as the game or the law changes. The new version is posted here with a new date and, for material changes, we will tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to play after that means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, please stop using Futico and delete your account.
